My Philosophy

At the heart of my practice is the belief that every therapeutic connection is a gift—an opportunity to meet one another with curiosity, compassion, and shared humanity. I respect the social, cultural, ancestral, and relational contexts that shape who you are, and I strive to meet you where you are, at your own pace.

Like the Wolf, whose strength is rooted in kinship and connection, I believe healing unfolds through safety, trust, and relationship. Together, we create a space where your experiences are honored, your voice is centered, and your inner wisdom can be remembered and reclaimed.

In this, I belief that you are already whole—that within you is a deep knowing shaped by your life experiences. Counselling is a invitation to slow down, to be witnessed, and to gently reconnect with that knowing and return to the inner song of your heart and reclaim agency and balance in ways that feel safe, authentic, and meaningful.

I offer a gentle, holistic approach to counselling—one that honors the deep interconnectedness of mind, body, heart, and spirit. I recognize that our lived experiences, including those shaped by trauma, can touch every layer of who we are. In our work together, we move slowly and with care, tending to each part with compassion and respect for your unique pace.

At the heart of my practice is a deep trust in your innate capacity for healing where I hold the belief that what you are seeking is not outside of you. Rather, remedy and healing already live within—woven into the quiet, often unseen places of your being. Together, we create space to reconnect with these places of resilience, wisdom, and gentle knowing.

My approach is held in a relational space where healing can unfold organically, support you to return to the song of your heart—to the deeper rhythm of yourself that may have been quieted. Together we engage in a process of remembering and coming home to yourself.

I am grateful you are here and , even as therapeutic landscapes shift and evolve, I remain grounded in my love for this work and in the privilege of holding space with others on their healing journeys.

Education & Professional Training

My work is shaped by a blend of formal education, specialized training, and decades of clinical and lived experience.

I earned a Master of Social Work with an Indigenous Field of Study through Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of the Fraser Valley, supporting my work with children, youth, adults,  families, and communities.

Alongside my academic training, I was drawn toward body‑based and trauma‑specific approaches, which became the heartbeat of my practice with integrated practices through biodynamic since 2007 and in 2016,  I completed the Indigenous Focusing‑Oriented Trauma Therapy (IFOT) program through the Justice Institute of British Columbia. I have continually integrated these approaches in my practice  believing that these approaches support a life lifelong commitment to relational and ethical care.
